We are always hearing about the healthiest foods and ingredients to include in our diet. The problem is that we don’t always know exactly how to incorporate these foods into our daily meals. In the video clip below Bethenny explains how to prepare meals with quinoa, tofu and arugula.
The first dish Bethenny whipped together was Mediterranean Quinoa. Bethenny explained that quinoa is high in protein and that it could be used as a substitute for rice. This would definitely be beneficial since grains typically have low levels of the amino acids lysine and isoleucine. While other grains fall short in the protein arena, quinoa can actually be used as a complete protein source. Next she shared her Tofu Marinade recipe and what she adds to Arugula for a delicious but healthy meal.
