I’ve Always Been a Nike Girl

I just saw the Nike “Voices” video and I was just moved. In this video, “Nike celebrates how far women’s sports have come by featuring elite athletes who defied convention — women who wanted to play so badly, they wrote their own rules.” Check it out below

If hearing those stories and seeing those young girls doesn’t inspire you, then I don’t know what will! LOL. I’m so proud of Nike and seeing how far they’ve come along to support women athletes. I grew up around all guys, I was a tomboy. I played softball and basketball, but softball is what I stuck with. And it’s weird but I remember after getting my first pair of Nike’s I never wanted to wear another brand. It was silly, you would have thought they were endorsing me or something lol. But it was just something about Nike and the message they were sending across and what they represented that just made me loyal to them from the start.

Seeing everything that Nike has done, and what they are continuing to do til this very day, doesn’t make me feel as silly for being so loyal to their brand at such a young age. Kudos to you, Nike, and thank you for all that you are doing not only for women, but for the world of sports.
