I have been using Bare Minerals products for quite some time now. While I may not like everything they have to offer, they do have products that I absolutely love. One product I love is the Rare Minerals Night Skin Revival Treatment.
I should note that this product goes by a different name now. The “RareMinerals” products line is now “bareMinerals Skincare” and this product in particular is now known as Bare Minerals Skincare Pure Transformation Night Treatment. I still have the older version which is pictured up top with my Glamour Sponge that I use to apply the product with (I didn’t like the applicator on the jar). The newer version is shown below.
So what is so special about this night treatment? It contains concentrated powders that replenish your skin while you are sleeping. The concept of applying powder to my face right before bedtime was strange to me at first — I didn’t want to feel like I was wearing makeup to bed! But I tried it and the powder did not rub off onto my pillow and it made my skin look great!
Bare Minerals Pure Transformation Night Treatment is said to contain 100% pure ActiveSoil Complex that reduces the appearance of pores, increases luminosity, smoothens the skin, and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The ActiveSoil Complex is mineral rich virgin soil which helps to improve skin texture and increase cell turnover that improves skin renewal. This nighttime skin treatment also has an antioxidant capacity that is greater than that of pomegranate or blueberries.
Like I mentioned above, I have the original RareMinerals version of this product. I apply the product every night after my usual nighttime skin care routine. It makes my skin look great immediately and I saw how good my skin looked even without makeup on. The Rare Minerals Skin Revival Treatment I have only comes in a clear tone, but the newer Bare Minerals Pure Transformation Night Treatments are now available in four tones that diffuse imperfections.
When I first received this product I really did not know how to use it. I did not like the spongy applicator that came with the old jar so I use my Glamour Sponge to apply it on. Thankfully Bare Escentuals changed the packaging so that you could apply it with a beauty brush now, and if you aren’t sure how to use the Pure Transformation Night Treatment read on below:
- When closed, gently shake jar to allow treatment to cling to brush.
- Open lid, tap off excess and buff onto skin in circular motions. Repeat steps 2-3 times for full coverage.
- Use as the very last step of your nighttime routine. It won’t come off on pillow.
