Google Plus Circles and Invites

Well, since I’m done setting up all of my projects I told myself that I was going to start blogging regularly (monthly at least) again. So what better place to start then Google Plus? I got an invite by an online friend, Maria (mboogie) (yes… another Maria lol) but what sucks is I can’t even invite people so I can’t really use all of the features as much as I would like.

What I can say though is the Circles concept is genius. You could group your friends, acquaintances, whoever and put them into “circles”. Only you could see the specific circle you put people in, all they could see is that you have them in a circle. This really comes in handy when sharing content on Google Plus because Google Plus makes it ridiculously easy to select who you would like to share your post with. You could select “Public” and or numerous Circles to share that particular post with.

I LOVE the ease of sharing content with certain circles because I honestly feel like I can’t post ANYTHING on my Facebook. My Facebook account has sorta become my “professional” account, my family is on there, classmates from graduate school are on there, even some of our school’s staff members added me So I really have to censor myself on there. When I really need to vent or post something, I go to my Twitter or Tumblr. Most of my Facebook people do not know ANYTHING about my Twitter. But with this Circles feature, I’ll be able to add everyone I interact with, and will be able to share stuff easily with my different circles… without offending my “professional” acquaintances with my music filled with curse words… and without boring my hometown friends with my nerdy pharmaceutical mumbo-jumbo! How about that? LOL.

There’s also Hangouts (webcamming with up to 10 friends which I can’t wait to try), Sparks (suggestions pretty much), Huddle (group text) and more but I won’t get into that. If you want to read more about it click here

What I want to talk about is how can I send invites?! I’ve tried many tricks that people are suggesting but it is not working for me. Nevermind, it’s working!

Sucks If anybody has any suggestions or tips let me know. Maybe Google Plus caught on and we can’t do that anymore. Well at least I can’t.
